Philanthropy New Zealand’s Chief Executive, Liz Gibbs, is resigning from her role, effective late November.
Announcing the resignation today, Board chair Kate Frykberg said Liz has done a fabulous job leading Philanthropy New Zealand for the last three and a half years and has significantly grown the organisation in her time with PNZ.
“We are very sad to lose Liz, who will be taking up a role as CE of the new Te Papa Foundation.”
She said Philanthropy New Zealand would be advertising to find a replacement for Liz soon.
“I believe that the role will attract many good candidates who can build from Liz’s good work, and I know that with our excellent team, strong board and deeply held vision for a thoughtfully generous Aotearoa New Zealand, Philanthropy New Zealand will continue to grow from strength to strength as the hub of philanthropy in Aotearoa New Zealand.”
The job is now live on SEEK. Applications close 21 September.
