Every two years the philanthropic and grantmaking sector comes together for our only national gathering, the Philanthropy Summit. The next Philanthropy Summit is 15 – 17 May, 2019 in Wellington, New Zealand. The three-day Summit offers networking, learning, challenge and celebration with the best of local and international philanthropy and grantmaking on show as we explore the urgent challenges we face as a sector. This includes pre-conference workshops and field trips.
Organised by Philanthropy New Zealand with the support of an advisory committee, the Summit content needs to be developed by thought leaders, disruptors, innovators, best-practice developers, collaborators, change-makers and strategists. If that sounds like you, we want to hear your offers to run workshops or contribute other content. We want to hear from people working in our sector, from people who are part of the organisations we help fund, and anyone who has something relevant to offer as we consider the ways we resource social and environmental good in Aotearoa New Zealand.
This is your chance to contribute content, help set the agenda and make sure that the Philanthropy Summit 2019 reflects the issues and challenges that matter most. See the attached Call for Workshops & Papers and submit your expression of interest by 22 September 2018.
Please share with anyone who you think might be interested in making a valuable contribution.
