Leading philanthropist Sir John Todd dies

July 30, 2015

We are very sorry to hear of the death of Sir John Todd, chair of the Todd Foundation, in Wellington today.  Sir John was deeply committed to philanthropy for many years, both through his work with the Todd Foundation, but also through his support for Philanthropy New Zealand. He was among the small group of Wellington-based philanthropists who helped set up the  organisation – then known as the New Zealand Association of Philanthropic Trusts – in 1990. We extend our sympathies to the Todd family. Find out more about Sir John’s life.
