The biennial Philanthropy Summit is New Zealand Philanthropy’s premier event, offering speakers to inspire and inform you in your work.
It’s an opportunity for funders from around Aotearoa New Zealand and across the Pacific to join in an exciting three days of knowledge sharing as we look at philanthropy in a changing world. We’ll look at how we fund differently, how we adapt quickly and how we maintain what is good among the shifting winds of change.
Given the uncertainties regarding Covid-19 we will enable both online attendance, and place-based gatherings hosted by some of our members on the first day.
How will the Summit be run in 2021?
The Summit will run for three half days in May (final dates to be announced shortly).
We will enable both online attendance, and place-based gatherings hosted by some of our members on the first day. This will allow some face to face networking time while remaining within all but the highest of Covid-19 restriction levels.
All of our content is available online. There will also be great opportunities to learn alongside your colleagues virtually on days two and three, with keynotes and breakouts for you to view at home, your desk or even in your trust board room with your team. You’ll also have content available to view for weeks after the event!
When can I register?
We’ll be launching registrations in early November so keep your eyes on your inbox! Please note that Philanthropy Awards will be hosted separately from the Summit next year and will be held in August 2021.
